The Brooks real estate house market market is holding steady so far in 2012.The average sale price of houses within the City,have remained quite stable. According to Brooks Real Estate Board statistics, which I  voluntarily provide to the Board and local media, the average sale price of resale homes in Brooks, to the end of March, 2012, was $ 234,478.00. This is a 1.1% reduction from last year at this time.On the other hand, sales have almost doubled with 50 home sales, compared to 27 at the end of March, 2011. Attached housing units ( condo, duplex, townhouse, etc.) averaged $ 201,915.00. Mobile home sales averaged $ 48,350.00. At April 1, 2012, there is an inventory of 54 resale houses on the market, at an average asking price of $ 313,318.00. Average days on the market for houses sold in 2012, has been 112 days. However the market has improved lately, and well priced homes are selling much quicker.
